In this medical school vlog video I discuss how I stay fit in Medical School as a Canadian Medical student at UBC. Being a Canadian medical student is difficult, but exercise is one of the ways I stay sane during this fun but intense learning process. It is absolutely true when they say that exercise is medicine. We all strive to be fit, but how do we pursue our fitness goals and exercise. That is the topic in this “medical school vlog” video where I discuss how to stay fit when you are so busy, such as being a medical student in medical school.
But what should you do to stay fit? That is where the Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines come in very handy. They give you the blueprint on how to stay fit, and I discuss in detail what they recommend and some common mistakes that many individuals make when applying these guidelines to their own life. Now get off youtube and get working on your fitness and exercising! The saying is absolutely set on your health is your wealth, so get exercising, and this applies even if you are a pre-med!
If you can’t sustain it, it’s not worth it.
I am a medical student who is obsessed with the Be Activated Muscle Activation Technique, mastering movement and understanding what makes humans thrive.
